Webquest Information

A good webquest has detailed instructions yet has broad enough directions that the students can be creative. The webquest should allow students to show their creativity through technology. The students should be able to stay interested in the porject and stay busy and just the minute it begins to get boring, the project should be finished.

1. What makes each classification of animals unique?
2. How are animals classified into each specification?
Student Role #1: Mammals
Studnet Role #2: Amphibians
Student Role #3: Reptiles
Studnet Role #4: Birds
Student Role #5: Fish
Within your classification you must find the following information:
  • Is your classification warm or cold blooded?
  • Where does your classification live?
  • How does your classification breath?
  • What does your classification look like (fur, scales, etc.)?
  • How does your classification reproduce (live-birth, eggs, etc.)?
Each role must research the information on their classfication and make a shadow box to describe each of the characteristics.

The group product will be the shadow boxes themselves and also the students will have to participate as a team to finish a flow chart against other group in the classroom. Also, each group must present the shadow boxes as a group, not individually.
